Ray Vazquez is a former police officer and former Harris County Prosecutor who has worked on hundreds of misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile cases. Building on his experience as a prosecutor, Ray has the advantage of being able to anticipate the prosecutor's approach to each case. With this knowledge, he is able to develop the best criminal defense law strategy to achieve a favorable result for his clients. His trial experience includes charges such as assault family member, evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and manslaughter.
Prior to becoming a Prosecutor with Harris County, Ray served as the Case Manager for the Honorable Melinda Harmon at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before working at the District Court, Ray served in the United States Marine Corps as a Marine Security Guard and was assigned to the Presidential Security Forces at Camp David. After the Marine Corps, Ray worked as a Police Officer and Emergency Medical Technician.
